Kibler Fowler & Cave welcomes appellate litigator Stephen F. Raiola as Counsel resident in the Firm’s New York City and Philadelphia offices. An emerging member of the Third Circuit’s Appellate Bar, Stephen has served as counsel of record on a certiorari petition before the U.S. Supreme Court and has experience in over a dozen appellate matters across six federal circuits, the U.S. Supreme Court, the New York State Appellate Division, and the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He also has presented numerous oral arguments in the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits and was recently appointed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to advise the Court as amicus curiae on the constitutionality of a New Jersey law. In addition to being an accomplished appellate attorney, Stephen also is an experienced and versatile civil litigator and business lawyer who has served on several trial teams.
Stephen joins Kibler Fowler & Cave from Pittsburgh-based national law firm Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and is (another) alumnus of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett to join us.
A magna cum laude graduate of both Georgetown University Law Center and the College of the Holy Cross, after law school Stephen served as a law clerk for The Honorable D. Michael Fisher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Welcome, Stephen!
