
Sarah Malik is a thoughtful and driven attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment and securities matters.
In her securities practice, Sarah has defended financial services firms and individual brokers in judicial and arbitration proceedings involving allegations of fraud, unsuitability, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, and violation of federal and state securities laws.
Sarah also represents employers in litigation in federal court and state court, as well as in arbitration (FINRA and JAMS), involving allegations of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and defamation. She has achieved favorable outcomes for her clients through dispositive motions and settlement. She has also counseled corporate clients on compliance with workplace violence prevention laws, pay transparency laws, non-competes, and data privacy obligations.
Before joining Kibler Fowler & Cave LLP, Sarah practiced at Keesal, Young & Logan, where she gained hands-on experience in a wide range of litigation and regulatory matters. Her background also includes work in data privacy, international law, and financial services.
Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she served as President of the Moot Court Program. She competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition and earned Top 4 honors in USF’s intramural moot court competition. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University.
