
Alexandria Faura represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial and business disputes, as well as in internal investigations and white collar matters. She brings strong advocacy skills and a detail-oriented approach to her practice, drawing on experience handling high-stakes litigation on behalf of the State of California.
Before joining the firm, Alex served as a Deputy Attorney General in the California Department of Justice’s Civil Division, where she represented the State of California and its employees in high-stakes civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. Her work included drafting dispositive motions, arguing in court, preparing witnesses for trial, and managing all stages of discovery and trial preparation in both state and federal court. Alex also has experience assisting state agencies with compliance initiatives and enforcement actions.
Alex earned her J.D. from LMU Loyola Law School, where she served as Chief Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, won the ABA First Amendment and Media Law Diversity Moot Court Competition, and participated in the Collateral Consequences of Conviction Justice Project. Her published work examines the effectiveness of international human rights oversight on U.S. capital punishment practices.
During law school, Alex held positions at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, the ACLU of Southern California, and the California DOJ’s Government Law Section. She also externed for the Honorable Dolly M. Gee of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Alex holds a B.A. from Wellesley College, where she majored in political science and women’s and gender studies, and studied abroad at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
