Kibler Fowler & Cave was proud to attend the annual Pacific Century Institute gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which this year welcomed former South Korean president Moon Jae-in as the evening’s honored guest.
KF&C Partner Nathan Park had the honor of introducing President Moon (who is pictured below along with Nathan and former South Korean First Lady Kim Jung-sook), who discussed the newly released English translation of his memoir, From the Periphery to the Center, for which Nathan served as lead translator. President Moon delivered a speech addressing US-ROK friendship, relationship with North Korea and the situation in Iran, and Nathan delivered the English language version of the speech.
The event highlighted the Pacific Century Institute’s ongoing work to strengthen ties between the United States and Korea, including its Project Bridges, which provides scholarship and cultural programs for young students of Los Angeles.
We were delighted to be part of the evening and to celebrate the important work PCI is doing to build bridges between communities.
