Los Angeles, CA, December 17, 2025 — Kibler Fowler & Cave is pleased to announce that Dominique Caamano, Counsel and Partner-Elect (effective January 1, 2026), has been appointed to the Board of Teach Democracy, a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening civic education and fostering democratic engagement among students nationwide.
Teach Democracy partners with schools, educators, and community organizations to deliver accessible, nonpartisan programs that help young people understand how government works—and how they can participate meaningfully in civic life. Dom’s appointment reflects both her deep commitment to public service and her belief in the power of civic literacy to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
“Dom’s sharp legal acumen, thoughtful leadership, and dedication to public-interest work make her an exceptional addition to the Teach Democracy Board,” said Managing Partner Michael Kibler. “We are proud of her accomplishments and thrilled to see her contribute to an organization doing such important work.”
“Dom’s career reflects a profound commitment to justice, ethics, and civic responsibility,” said Stephanie Doute, CEO of Teach Democracy. “Her experience and perspective will strengthen our work as we equip young people with the tools to participate in democracy with confidence, integrity, and respect for differing viewpoints. We are honored to have her join our Board.”
At KF&C, Dom brings wide-ranging experience across complex criminal and civil litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory matters. She has served as lead trial counsel, briefed appeals before courts including the California Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit, and represented individuals and companies in high-stakes, sensitive matters spanning international investigations, enforcement actions, and trials. She also works extensively with multinational companies on compliance programs, including anti-bribery and corruption policies, ethics frameworks, third-party risk, and executive training. This work is grounded in her prior service as a federal prosecutor and as the Environmental Justice Coordinator in the Central District of California.
“I’m honored to join the Teach Democracy Board and support its mission,” Dom said. “Empowering young people with the knowledge and confidence to engage with our democratic institutions is vital, and I’m excited to contribute to that effort.”
Kibler Fowler & Cave congratulates Dom on both her board appointment and her upcoming partnership. The Firm looks forward to her continued leadership within KF&C and in the broader community.
