Kibler Fowler & Cave LLP Counsel Sangyoon Nathan Park was recently named as co-president of the Korean American Bar Association of Washington DC (KABA-DC) for the 2023-2025 term. Nathan will serve as a co-president with Christine D. Han, Senior Trial Attorney of the US Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
KABA-DC serves the Korean American legal community of the Washington D.C. area. For their terms, Nathan and Christine are preparing an ambitious calendar of programs and events, to provide business and referrals for private practice lawyers, networking for government attorneys, job opportunities and mentorship for junior lawyers and law students, and above all, friendship for everyone.
Nathan, who joined KF&C earlier this year, is a versatile litigator who has extensive experience with complex international business litigation, arbitration, judgment enforcement, and regulatory investigations, frequently involving challenging jurisdictions in Asia, Europe and offshore. As an expert in East Asian economy and politics, Nathan regularly appears on television and writes extensively on major publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Foreign Policy, Politico and the Financial Times.
