Kibler Fowler & Cave Counsel Harry Koulos was recently featured on The Greek Current podcast’s “I am HALC” segment, where host Thanos Davelis profiled Harry’s distinguished legal career and his deep commitment to his Hellenic heritage.
Harry’s path to the law was shaped by formative experiences, including interning for the Senate Judiciary Committee during Justice Elena Kagan’s Supreme Court nomination hearings and observing a federal judge whose humane and reasoned approach to sentencing inspired him to pursue a legal career. At Yale, his leadership was recognized with the prestigious Francis Gordon Brown Prize—an honor previously awarded to President George H.W. Bush.
After graduating from Georgetown Law, Harry clerked for a federal judge—an experience he describes as “invaluable” for any litigator. He then spent a decade at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he worked on high-stakes matters for clients including JPMorgan Chase, Monsanto, and Getty Images. Harry recently joined Kibler Fowler & Cave, where he continues to handle complex commercial disputes.
As Managing Partner Mike Kibler shared: “His passion, dedication, and work ethic jumped off the page right away. His resume is impeccable, but there are a lot of lawyers out there with impeccable resumes who you wouldn’t want to be working with for 14-hour days on a trial—and Harry is a great guy.”
Beyond his legal career, Harry represented Greece at the 2012 European Baseball Championships, where he led the team in batting average and RBIs—with his father watching from the stands. His commitment to his Hellenic identity extends from successfully learning Greek as an adult to his longtime involvement with the Hellenic American Leadership Council.
