Sheila Nagaraj joins Kibler Fowler & Cave LLP

Kibler Fowler & Cave is thrilled to welcome the newest member of our growing litigation team: Sheila Nagaraj. Sheila brings to the firm extraordinary trial experience and courtroom skills honed as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern and Central Districts of California, where she investigated and tried criminal cases for nearly ten years. “We are extremely excited to have Sheila join our team at this stage in the firm’s development and growth. Entering its second year, the firm already has developed a roster of new clients and deepened its relationships with existing clients who turn to us for their most vexing business disputes. Sheila’s governmental and trial experience and skillset not only will enable us to better serve the litigation needs of our existing client base, but also will further expand the expertise we can offer them into the arena of investigations and white collar criminal defense,” said Mike Kibler, Managing Partner of Kibler Fowler & Cave. “I’m very much looking forward to this next chapter of my career,” Sheila said. “I’m confident that my background and experience will enable me to jump in and add immediate value to the firm’s existing docket of complex commercial litigation, and I am looking forward to helping develop the firm’s white collar and investigations practice.”

After graduating from Yale Law School, Sheila began her career as a litigator at Paul, Weiss in New York. Sheila then served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Alvin K. Hellerstein in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, followed by a clerkship for The Honorable Alfred T. Goodwin in the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals prior to her decade-long career as a federal prosecutor.
