Sheila Nagaraj is Counsel at Kibler Fowler & Cave LLP. Sheila’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, business litigation and government investigations and white collar criminal defense. Sheila is a seasoned litigator with nearly ten years of federal prosecutorial experience, first for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, and more recently in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California, where she handled investigations and cases involving a variety of federal offenses, including corruption, fraud against the United States, organized crime activities, and narcotics trafficking. She has tried multiple jury trials to verdict and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Sheila’s past experience includes serving as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Alvin K. Hellerstein of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and to the Hon. Alfred T. Goodwin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She began her career as a litigation associate for Paul, Weiss, Wharton, Rifkind & Garrison LLP. Sheila received her JD from Yale Law School, where she was a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal.
